Meaning: Seraphic means angelic, pure, or blissfully beautiful. It describes someone or something that seems radiant with innocence, kindness, or spiritual light, like an angel in a painting.
Etymology: It comes from seraph, the name of the highest-ranking angels in Judeo-Christian tradition, from Hebrew śĕrāph (“burning one”). The adjective seraphic entered English in the 17th century to describe anything resembling a seraph’s purity or glow.
Example in a Sentence: “The baby gave her a seraphic smile that melted everyone’s heart.”
