Ode to the Girls Who Laugh Too Loud

Here’s to the girls,
whose laughter turns heads,
whose joy spills over
like a glass too full of wine.
The ones who take up space,
who dance barefoot in grocery stores,
and sing in cars with the windows down.
The world tells them to quiet down,
to be smaller,
but they were born to be loud.
So here’s to the girls
who burn bright and unapologetic,
who love like wildfires,
and laugh like they’ve never known sorrow,
even when they have.
